I did not know then, but kindda know now that I have created 2 forums at HostGator: One PhP and the other is Yabb.
I was trying to make PhP forum work and I went to CPanel, and don't remember what I clicked but it came up with a Yabb page with terms and conditions with a button: Install. I clicked that and ...whoa .. I got another forum at http://hitechspirit.com/yabb/YaBB.pl on top of the PhP forum at http://hitechspirit.com/index.php !!
Even though the forums look empty, I played around with the administration and postings quite a bit.
I am going off-road here with all my experimentation .. could not resist trying out things - HostGator has made it too easy to resist.
Just some musings: for a non-technical or not-so-technical-anymore person or non-admin-type-person, YABB was quick to get the hang-of. For people like me, the WORK FLOW is very important. That is, if I can make out where I am and can intuitively figure out where I want to go and I actually get there, I enjoy using it.
In PhP, I had a hard time getting into "Admin mode." I could not find a link for quite some time. Not that I want to keep or use PhP or Yabb. I am just experimenting.
I am not complaining. I am just commenting. I shouldn't be playing with fireworks anyways. I hope I will find the "Uninstall" buttons when I need them! .. Raj

I knew it would be to hard to resist! Once you discover the power of Cpanel and fatastico you realize how easy all this is and you can help but try out everything at least once!
I don't know how you managed to intall two programs on the same domain name, but you can unistall them by going back to fatastico and clicking on the software on the left hand side. You will be shown a list of domain names you have that software installed on. Just click on unistall and it will ask you if you are sure.
